Braemoor is a special place in the Santa Cruz mountains. It is a rare and nearly level neighborhood. The sellers loved taking walks around the loop while enjoying the trees and views. They felt at home and quickly made connections with the neighbors. The Braemoor neighborhood was one of the communities devastated by the CZU Lightning Complex Fire in 2020. Today work is underway to rebuild this beautiful neighborhood. It is a joy to see the rebirth and new construction. Even though many homes, fruit trees, and backyard gardens will need to be rebuilt and replanted, this enchanting neighborhood is already coming back to life. A Debris Removal Certification of Completion has been issued for this lot. A new well was drilled in 2021. There is also a recorded 1/3 interest in a shared well which is on a neighboring parcel. The septic was pumped and passed inspection in Dec 2020 which was after the fire. PG&E Wildfire Tree Hauling is scheduled for later this year.
